This is an image that reflects my journey and a time in my life where I was questioning where I was and why I was doing it. the water and bowl are a symbol of spirituality which was in flux in my life at the time but I was grounded in it and so I grounded myself in the painting by showing my journey literally me feet that walk me from one place to another. I’ve always felt my feet look battered and I wanted to paint them as I’m drawn to the battered and broken textures and colors in life even in human beings.
